Christer Ljungberg features on Eltis

Category: Traffic

Eltis is the European Local Transport Information Service. It is a service run by the European Commission to exchange practise on local transport. The service is one of the flagship urban mobility services of the European Commission, with a wide readership across Europe to view case studies, find training tools and exchange with like-minded professionals across Europe.

March’s article of the month was a piece written by Trivector CEO Christer Ljungberg. The piece – entitled “Don't sleep during the revolution - on peak car use and windows of opportunity” – was about peak car use, and the opportunities that this phenomenon provides to us in improving sustainable mobility. Peak car use is being increasingly mentioned in scientific articles, and is a phenomenon that can be used as an opportunity to move dependence away from the private car.
