Our Tools

Our toolbox contains virtually all the keys necessary for all kinds of different studies. We use both quantitative and qualitative methods – the choice is always based on the needs of our customer.

Quantitative Studies

The quantitative study is used to give an overall picture of a phenomenon. It provides answers to questions such as:

  • How many are positive to the phenomenon?
  • How many behave in a certain way?
  • Which explanatory variables are there concerning a certain phenomenon?

The quantitative study is based either on questionnaires answered by a larger group of people, or from a larger volume of documents. We process data statistically and master the relevant analytical methods, such as multivariate analysis, factor, regression and cluster analysis. If necessary, we build regression models that allow comparisons over time.

Qualitative Studies

The qualitative study is used to understand, find explanations, arguments and ideas regarding a given phenomenon or a company/organization. It provides answers to questions such as:

  • How is the target group reasoning?
  • Why are they reasoning in that way?
  • How is a particular service used?

What distinguishes qualitative results from quantitative ones is that you find many different explanations - but you don’t get an answer to how strong or frequent they are. It is not possible to generalize qualitative results to the whole target group, without quantifying the result.
