Public transport

Our public transport projects range from small projects concerned with bus terminals to projects involving comprehensive studies of busline networks. We have carried out studies of the latter type in different Swedish cities and have helped many small municipalities improve their public transport by use of so-called rondezvous traffic, which we were the first to introduce in Sweden.

Regarding train transportation, we have conducted investigations of matters such as train capacity, questions of where new tracks should be located, transport informatics, and transportation of goods by rail.

We have also worked with issues of transportation by trolley and other light rail vehicles; we possess particular sound competence within this area.

We have been involved in several EU projects dealing with public transport. Read more about them our R&D page. We also coordinate the ongoing EU-project PROCEED.
